This rod is a great size and weight to transport whether in the car or in your backpack and the telescopic rods work well and are simple to put together. It does seem quite robust but not sure it will be very good with a large catch It's definitely ideal for beginners/children who want to fish whenever near water and where the size of fish is usually quite small. Overall impressed and would recommend it.
